We're hiring a Product Operations Specialist to join our growing team supporting a high-scale digital platform. If you love connecting dots across teams, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to own operational excellence, this role is for you.

You'll partner with product managers, engineers, and support teams to ensure platform reliability, triage production issues, manage operational backlogs, and drive continuous improvement. You'll work at the intersection of product and operations, building dashboards, improving workflows, and establishing feedback loops across teams.

This is a fixed-term contract role, 1 year engagement.

What You'll Do

• Triage and coordinate resolution of production issues within defined SLAs
• Manage operations backlogs: logging, categorizing, prioritizing, and reporting trends to leadership
• Build and maintain dashboards tracking support performance, issue trends, and operational metrics
• Prepare documentation and submissions for operational approvals and risk management
• Establish feedback loops between customer experience, support, product, and technical teams
• Improve internal tools, workflows, ticketing systems, and operational governance
• Map data flows, user journeys, dependencies, and operational risks across systems
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, business teams, and external partners

What We're Looking For

• 2-4 years as a technical business analyst or product operations specialist in a tech-driven environment
• Strong grasp of data flows, backend processes, databases, APIs, and system architecture
• Comfortable with SQL or similar tools to investigate issues
• Ability to break down complex systems into clear journeys, dependencies, and improvement opportunities
• Experience triaging production issues, assessing impact, and tracking resolution
• Strong structured thinking: categorizing, assessing severity, prioritizing, communicating trade-offs
• Excellent communication: translate technical concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, accountable, with solid documentation habits
• Comfortable working cross-functionally
• Curious about data integrity, system reliability, and backend operations
• Collaborative mindset with strong ownership

Bonus

• Experience with medium-scale products or public sector work
• Familiarity with multi-agency or interagency system coordination
