Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Perai for Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians. The role involves supporting day-to-day production operations, including setting up, operating, and optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes to meet quality, safety, and output targets. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machinery and process issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime. Team members will collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to introduce new products, refine workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives such as yield enhancement and cycle-time reduction. The role also requires maintaining documentation, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and contributing to a culture of operational excellence in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering, including understanding of production workflows, equipment setup, and process optimization.
• Candidates should possess skills in Industrial Engineering, such as capacity planning, layout optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Engineering, including mechanical design fundamentals, equipment mechanics, and basic tooling knowledge.
• Candidates should possess skills in Machining, including operation of machine tools, basic CNC or manual machining, and adherence to precision and safety standards.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working on-site in a production setting, with attention to safety, quality, and teamwork in a multicultural environment.
