Salary:
S$2,000 – S$2,900
Working Location:
Upper Thomson
Core Responsibilities
Trains and assists adults with disabilities in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Community Living Skills (CLS), and pre-vocational skills.
Attends to clients’ personal needs and ensures their safety and well-being.
Completes and submits required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Works with the team to support the implementation of individual care plans for clients.
Plans and assists in programme activities in the classroom, as well as festive celebrations and events.
Liaises with and updates caregivers on clients’ progress and well-being, including participation in caregiver meetings.
Maintains cleanliness, orderliness and a conducive learning environment in the classroom.
Assists with clients’ daily activities, outings and community programmes.
Provides support to clients in areas such as self-care, grooming and toileting, where required.
Performs any other duties or projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education
Minimum NITEC qualification.
Certificate or training in disability care, healthcare, social services or a related field will be an advantage.
Experience
Experience in the social service, healthcare or disability sector will be an advantage.
Candidates without relevant experience may also be considered, with training provided.
Skills & Attributes
Good oral and written communication skills.
Patient, caring and passionate about working with adults with disabilities.
Able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, caregivers, volunteers and the public.
Responsible, reliable and willing to learn.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
