An Opportunity as a P2P Executive Awaits!

As the P2P Executive, you will support the day-to-day transactional delivery of an outsourced Procure-to-Pay function for a key client. You will be responsible for accurate and timely processing, following up on exceptions, and communicating professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders. This role is suited to someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented and able to resolve routine operational issues independently while escalating appropriately when required.

Your Contributions as P2P Executive

Process with Accuracy and Ownership:

• P2P Transaction Processing: Perform hands-on processing of PR, PO, Invoice, GRN and VDD transactions in accordance with agreed procedures and timelines.
• Transaction Validation: Review transaction details and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy before processing.
• Exception Resolution: Identify discrepancies, incomplete information and processing exceptions, and follow through with the relevant parties until resolution.
• Vendor Communication: Draft clear and professional emails and communicate tactfully with vendors when following up on documents, discrepancies or outstanding matters.
• SLA & Workload Management: Manage assigned transaction volumes and outstanding items to support agreed service levels and processing targets.
• Escalation & Judgement: Resolve routine issues independently and escalate complex, sensitive or unresolved matters to the appropriate party in a timely manner.
• Operational Tracking: Maintain accurate records and trackers, including the use of Excel for exception tracking, reporting and follow-up.
• Transition Support: Support knowledge transfer and process transition activities as the P2P function moves into the outsourced operating model.

The Key Competencies to be a Rockstar!

• P2P / AP Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in P2P, Accounts Payable or related transactional operations.
• Transactional Knowledge: Practical experience handling PR, PO, Invoice, GRN and VDD transactions.
• Systems & Excel: ERP exposure and strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables and exception trackers.
• Communication Excellence: Strong professional email drafting and tactful vendor communication skills; written communication should be clear, accurate and appropriate for external stakeholders.
• Judgement & Ownership: Good judgement on when to escalate versus resolve independently, with strong follow-through on assigned cases.
• Attention to Detail: Able to work accurately in a transaction-driven environment while managing multiple items and deadlines.
• Relevant Environment: Experience within Shared Services, manufacturing, EPC, trading or distribution environments would be an advantage.
