FULL STACK DEVELOPER – JAVA/SPRING BOOT/ANGULAR

Role Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our client’s technology team within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining modern web applications across both backend and frontend layers, working primarily with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior level software engineer with strong web application development experience and a solid understanding of enterprise application architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.

• Build responsive and maintainable frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.

• Work with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, for application development and data management.

• Develop and maintain microservices-based applications and enterprise software solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of application quality.

• Support application deployment and CI/CD activities within containerized environments.

• Work with messaging/queueing technologies such as MQ where required.

• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system performance, reliability, and scalability improvements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience, preferably with hands-on web application development.

• 3+ years of experience in Java development.

• 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot.

• 3+ years of experience with Angular.

• Strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

• Experience with microservices architecture is preferred.

• Exposure to Kotlin is an advantage.

• Experience with MQ/message queuing technologies is preferred.

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment is an advantage.

• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD and/or ArgoCD is preferred.

• Experience with GCP/cloud environments is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
