We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety & Health Officer to champion workplace safety and environmental compliance across our manufacturing facilities. This vital role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining safety protocols that ensure the well-being of all employees while adhering to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in occupational health, environmental management systems, and safety regulations, driving a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement. • Familiar with Environmental, Health and Safety and provide direct EHS support and guidance to employer and employee.
• To ensure a safe and healthful workplace for employees, assure compliance with applicable Environmental, Health and Safety related laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• To carry out functional safety management work such as control, monitor, enforce, implement, coordinate, maintain and improve Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental related matters.
• Liaise with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA and other related government to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
• To develop and implement training programs, policies and procedures for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical hazards at company site.
• Investigate and analysis of accidents, as well as preparing the incident Investigation report.
• To create awareness to all staff regarding environment, health and safety workplace.
• Monitoring and inspection of equipment, sites/workplaces and ensure suitable protective equipment is provided, used correctly and compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Waste management including monitor and inspect the equipment, ensure safety standards have met the requirement of DOE.
• Train and carry out drills and exercises to manage emergency situations on site.
• To perform any task assigned by superior or management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Safety & Health, Environmental, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing site experience as a Safety & Health Officer.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Registered with DOSH as Safety Officer
• Able to work independently without supervision
• Candidate must have Completed Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM)
