Beautician – Job Scope

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional facial and beauty treatments according to company protocols.
• Conduct basic skin analysis and recommend suitable treatments and homecare products.
• Provide services such as cleansing facials, extraction, facial massage, body treatments and equipment-based beauty treatments, based on training and certification.
• Explain treatment procedures, expected results, aftercare and package details clearly to customers.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide attentive follow-up after treatments.
• Recommend and sell suitable treatment packages and retail products without hard selling.
• Achieve individual and outlet sales and service targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records, treatment notes, consent forms and before-and-after photographs where required.
• Prepare treatment rooms before appointments and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and sanitised after each use.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, grooming, cleanliness and workplace safety.
• Monitor product, linen and consumable stock, and report low inventory promptly.
• Assist with appointment confirmations, customer enquiries, payment collection and daily outlet operations when required.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and escalate complaints or adverse reactions to the Branch Manager or management immediately.
• Attend product knowledge, treatment, sales and service training organised by the company.
• Support outlet promotions, events, social-media content and other marketing activities when required.
• Comply with company policies, SOPs and all applicable Singapore regulations.

Requirements

• Relevant beauty, facial or skincare certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in a beauty salon, medispa or aesthetic environment is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Well-groomed, hygienic and professional.
• Sales-oriented while maintaining an ethical, consultative approach.
• Able to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible, punctual, positive and able to work as part of a team.
• Training may be provided for candidates with the right attitude.
