Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QS experience with a main contractor.
• Familiar with quantity take-off, tender pricing, progress claims, VO and subcontract final accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; AutoCAD experience is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Detail-oriented, numerate and well organised, with good communication skills.
• Experience in industrial facilities, M&E works or design-and-build projects is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out quantity take-off and verification based on drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities.
• Assist with tender pricing, material enquiries, subcontractor enquiries and price comparisons.
• Handle site measurements, progress claim documentation and variation valuation.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations, progress claims and final accounts.
• Maintain accurate contract, procurement, subcontract, payment, VO and cost registers.
• Work with project and site teams to collect site records, photographs, instructions and claim supporting documents.
• Support the QS team with day-to-day cost and commercial matters.
