Role Overview:


The Senior Executive – Partner Quality & Food Regulatory Compliance is responsible for managing assigned quality and food regulatory compliance activities across the organisation and its business partners. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, co-packers, business partners, and relevant regulatory authorities to ensure products, processes, materials, and operations comply with applicable food safety, quality, regulatory, and company requirements, while supporting regulatory assessments, audits, partner quality management, documentation and continuous improvement initiative


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct quality audits and assessments of co-packers and manufacturing sites based on ASAHI quality standards and applicable requirements and prepare audit reports and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate quality and regulatory assessments for new manufacturing sites, and re-assessment of approved manufacturing site for surveillance when necessary.
  • Coordinate commercialization activity and first launch products conform to the predefined technical and quality standard from Asahi, R&D product design, QA, RA and applicable requirements.
  • Manage routine monitoring and oversight of co-packer activities, including review and verification of Certificates of Analysis (COA), release documentation and relevant batch compliance requirements prior to product release.
  • Review new raw and packaging material approval documents to ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with Procurement, R&D, QA and RA on supplier evaluation and approval.
  • Manage technical approval activities and review technical documentation to ensure all technical requirements are addressed prior to commercialization.
  • Coordinate and follow up on quality incidents, non-conformities, customer complaints and regulatory compliance issues involving co-packers and business partners, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain relevant quality and regulatory records, databases and documentation, and support audit readiness and compliance activities within the assigned scope.
  • Review and verify product label artwork for own-brand and OEM products against applicable regulatory and internal requirements and coordinate required label changes with relevant Brand Owners and stakeholders.
  • Conduct food regulatory assessments for products, ingredients, packaging materials, product claims and labelling requirements within assigned markets, and provide regulatory guidance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Business Units, Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, R&D, QA, RA and other relevant functions to resolve partner quality and regulatory matters.
  • Perform other duties required by the company, as and when necessary.


KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Chemistry, Microbiology, Quality Management, Biotechnology or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, or a related discipline, preferably within the FMCG, food, beverage, dairy, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, quality systems, and applicable food regulatory requirements, with knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 or equivalent.
  • Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, co-manufacturers, or business partners on quality and compliance matters, including audits, inspections and corrective actions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and communication skills, with good stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across functions and cultures in a regional environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility, a collaborative approach and a strong commitment to teamwork, quality and compliance.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for business activities, including partner and manufacturing site assessments.
