About the role

Kueen Lai Properties Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and dedicated HR Executive to join our Human Resources team. This is a full-time position based in Kajang, Selangor. As an HR Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of human resources services across the organisation. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our company culture, employee engagement and organisational development as we continue to grow and expand our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination and employment offers.
• Manage new employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation and orientation.
• Maintain and update employee records, HR database and HR systems.
• Administer attendance, leave, overtime, claims and employee benefits.
• Prepare HR-related documents such as offer letters, confirmation letters, warning letters and other correspondence.
• Assist with monthly payroll preparation by checking attendance, leave, overtime and other payroll information.
• Support employee relations, disciplinary matters and grievance handling.
• Coordinate performance appraisal, training and employee development activities.
• Organise employee engagement activities, company events and staff welfare initiatives.
• Ensure HR practices and documentation comply with company policies and applicable Malaysia employment requirements.
• Prepare HR reports, manpower records and HR documentation for management.
• Handle other HR and administrative duties assigned by management.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a human resources or HR administrative role
• Strong knowledge of employment law, labour regulations and HR best practices in Malaysia
• Proficiency in HR information systems and general office software (Odoo , HR2000, Microsoft )
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality HR support
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
• A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Preferably, experience in the property or real estate sector
