Job Brief As a Research Associate, you will serve as the analytical engine driving our corporate investment strategies. Your primary focus will be conducting deep-dive macroeconomic research, performing rigorous corporate financial evaluations, modeling asset portfolios, and tracking international market trends. You will work directly with our senior investment analysts and managing partners to turn raw data into highly actionable market insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Market and Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive secondary research on regional economic shifts, industry specific developments, and emerging market sectors across Southeast Asia.
• Investment Evaluation Support: Analyze target company financial statements, build structural valuation frameworks, and assist in due diligence processes for corporate advisory pipelines.
• Portfolio and Asset Tracking: Maintain internal databases to trace active portfolio performance, evaluate historical asset trends, and flag risk exposure metrics.
• Report Compilation: Draft professional investment memos, background profiles on corporate entities, and pitch books detailing market intelligence findings for senior leadership.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate closely with operations coordinators and external advisory partners to streamline cross-border transaction documentation and project deadlines.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a research assistant, financial analyst, data analyst, or corporate secretary support. Experience in private equity, wealth management, or corporate advisory firms is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Advanced working proficiency with data processing features in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formulas) and familiarity with financial reporting portals.
• Core Competencies: High numeric precision, structural thinking habits when reading complex company records, and an exceptional ability to manage cyclical reporting schedules under tight timelines.
• Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills to explain financial variables simply to internal executives and corporate partners.

Pay: $4,500.00 - $6,200.00 per month
