The Opportunity
Adecco is partnering with our client, a leading global organisation (a top US Tech Giant), and we are looking for a Community Experience Event Operations Specialist to support the planning and execution of employee events and community activations in Singapore.
This role will start off as a 12-month contract assignment, under Adecco's payroll.
Working Location: CBD, Singapore
Working Arrangement: Hybrid, minimum 3 days in office
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm SGT
The Talent
- Degree holder in Events Management, Communications, Business, or a related discipline
- At least 4 years of experience in event operations, event production, or a similar role
- Experience managing events from planning through to execution
- Experience coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors/suppliers
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Meticulous, responsible and highly responsive
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic corporate environment
- Experience in procurement operations or source-to-pay processes will be an advantage
- Experience in a technology or large corporate environment will be an advantage
Job Description
- Support the end-to-end operational delivery of onsite events, including cultural activations, employee meetups and annual events
- Coordinate event logistics including venue setup, catering, signage, AV, facilities, suppliers and event-day execution
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Facilities, Security, AV, Catering and Environmental Health & Safety to ensure smooth event delivery
- Support local cultural activations including Lunar New Year, Hari Raya, Diwali and other community events
- Assist with the planning and execution of larger employee events and regional programmes
- Coordinate with regional teams and local stakeholders to implement global event programmes and toolkits
- Maintain the local events calendar and ensure alignment with regional and global plans
- Coordinate with external suppliers and agencies, including quotations, briefs, logistics and on-the-day delivery
- Support event feedback collection, post-event reviews and identification of process improvements
- Maintain event documentation, run-of-show templates, process guides and best-practice materials
- Support procurement processes including vendor onboarding, purchase requisitions, Third Party Assessments and purchase orders
- Liaise with suppliers on purchase order queries and procurement-related issues
- Support event budget tracking, invoice processing and reconciliation
- Maintain accurate documentation relating to event expenditure and supplier engagements
