Role Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Murex Business Analyst responsible for analysing, designing, configuring and supporting Murex Back Office workflows covering the complete post-trade lifecycle. The role works closely with Front Office, Market Operations, Settlement, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to deliver business solutions while ensuring

Straight Through Processing (STP), operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements from Operations, Treasury and Back Office users.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
• Produce Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Perform gap analysis between current and future processes.
• Recommend workflow improvements and automation opportunities.
• Configure and analyse Murex workflows including Contract Workflow, Deliverable Workflow, Event Workflow, Exchange Workflow, Payment Workflow, Settlement Workflow and Validation Workflow

Our Ideal Candidate

• Has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering/ Mathematics/ Finance/ Financial Engineering or similar field
• Has at least 5 years of work experience in Business Analysis, with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Murex MX.3 Back Office
• Has exposure to banking functions such as Treasury, Capital Markets, Trading Operations, Back Office, preferably from global investment banks
• Has strong functional knowledge of Murex Back Office modules, workflow configuration, trade lifecycle, settlement processing and integration with downstream systems.
• Has excellent analytical/ problem-solving skills
• A leader with effective stakeholder management and presentation and documentation skills
