Position : SITE SUPERVISOR / PENYELIA TAPAK (CIVIL)

Project Site : Alor Gajah, Melaka

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily civil construction works at site according to drawings, specifications and project schedule.
• Coordinate work with Project Engineers, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers.
• Ensure all construction works are carried out according to project specifications, standards and requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed within the stipulated timeline.
• Attend site meetings, toolbox meetings and project progress discussions.
• Monitor manpower, construction materials, equipment and machinery at site.
• Ensure workmanship meets the required quality standards and specifications.
• Supervise civil works such as earthworks, concrete works, structural works, brickworks, plastering, finishing works, drainage and other related civil works.
• Inspect construction works to ensure proper execution before proceeding with subsequent works.
• Identify and resolve technical issues at site promptly and report to the management when necessary.
• Ensure all workers and subcontractors comply with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist the Project Engineer / Project Manager in project coordination and planning.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress reports and records of site activities.
• Manage site documentation and ensure drawings, reports and work records are properly maintained.
• Coordinate site inspections with consultants, contractors and relevant parties.
• Ensure construction works comply with project quality and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma / Certificate in *Civil Engineering, Construction or related field*.
• Minimum *2–5 years of experience* in civil construction / building projects.
• Experience in government projects, commercial buildings, infrastructure or high-rise projects will be an added advantage.
• Able to read and understand *construction drawings / civil drawings*.
• Good knowledge of construction works and site coordination.
• Knowledge of construction methods, specifications and relevant standards.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Experience in preparing site reports and documentation will be an added advantage.
• Possession of relevant *CIDB card / certification* will be an added advantage.
