Key Responsibilities:

• Engagement Leadership: Manage a diverse corporate recovery portfolio covering liquidations, receiverships, and special administrations.
• Corporate Rescue & Turnarounds: Assess distressed businesses to design and execute corporate rescue mechanisms, debt restructurings, and strategic turnarounds.
• Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal and strategic on the Companies Act 2016 and Insolvency Act 1967, ensuring full compliance with Malaysian statutory frameworks.
• Business Development: Actively network with banks, law firms, financial institutions, and corporate leaders to originate new mandates and build a robust client pipeline.
• Stakeholder Management: Confidently negotiate with creditors, directors, judges, and regulatory bodies to secure optimal outcomes for all parties.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Possess a degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or equivalent professional qualification in Accounting.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in Corporate Recovery, Restructuring, or Insolvency within Malaysia.
• Legal & Technical Expertise: Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of Malaysian insolvency laws and corporate rescue mechanisms.
• Skillset: Strong baseline experience in formal liquidations, combined with a proven track record in financial restructuring and strategic business turnarounds.
• Commercial Acumen: Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills, with a natural ability to build relationships, socialize, and generate new business.
