Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving room sales, corporate group bookings, and meeting space revenue for our 3-star property. You will actively hunt for new business leads, build lasting relationships with corporate clients and travel partners, and promote our property’s services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Prospecting: Proactively seek out new corporate accounts, travel agents, event organizers, and group bookings through direct cold calling, networking, and site inspections.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain existing accounts and build strong relationships with decision-makers to encourage repeat bookings.
- Inquiry Handling & Quotes: Respond promptly to incoming inquiries for room reservations, banquets, or small meeting facilities, preparing proposals and corporate rate agreements.
- Site Inspections: Conduct hotel tours and show-rounds for prospective clients to showcase hotel rooms, facilities, and services.
- Sales Targets: Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets set by management.
- Market Monitoring: Stay updated on local competitor rates, promotional activities, and industry trends to adapt sales tactics accordingly.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Reservations, Front Office, and Operations teams to ensure guest requirements are met flawlessly.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly sales activity reports, pipeline status updates, and client feedback for management reviews.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel sales, travel agency, or hospitality front-line customer service.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting targets, strong negotiation skills, and ability to close deals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Product Knowledge: Good understanding of hotel room inventory, corporate rate structures, and local market dynamics.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) or CRM software is preferred.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
