Job Summary
We are looking for an Accountant with 5–8 years of experience to support the end-to-end finance operations primarily for Malaysia entity which will gradually expand into regional entity support.

We are looking for an Accountant with 5–8 years of experience to support the end-to-end finance operations primarily for Malaysia entity which will gradually expand into regional entity support.
Core Functions/Key Responsibilites
- Handling procure-to-pay (P2P) and operational accounting activities
- Performing cash and bank reconciliations
- Maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Assisting with audit requests and preparation of supporting schedules
- Coordinating with external parties on tax filing and statutory matters
- Ensuring accounting records are maintained accurately and timely
- Supporting process improvements and finance operational transformation initiatives
- Gradually taking on accounting responsibilities for additional regional entities over time
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5–8 years of accounting or finance operations experience.
- Experience handling operational accounting activities such as AP/P2P, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end close support.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and fixed asset accounting.
- Basic understanding of Malaysian statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
- Experience supporting external audit requests and preparation of audit schedules.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, auditors, tax agent and external service providers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA membership.
- Experience handling full sets of accounts.
- Experience in a multinational corporation (MNC), shared services, or regional finance environment.
- Experience supporting process improvements, automation initiatives, or finance transformation projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple entities or regions.
- Adaptability and willingness to gradually support additional regional entities over time.
