• This position is the key driver of the organization’s Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP); Master Production Scheduling (MPS) processes and Key Raw Materials Planning. It adds value by developing and driving customer-oriented supply strategies of finished goods to meet demand plan, synchronizing supply and demand management through S&OP process to ensure information is deployed and to make timely decision.
• Also responsible to strategies product-driven MPS technique (make-to-order, make-to-stock) to achieve a balance of stability and responsiveness within supply chain from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring product availability and optimising customer service level against finished goods inventory.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Manage functional KPIs per company target and take the responsive decision/action to achieve/ exceed the target.
• Manages the order fulfillment process timely and accurately from order entry, administration, delivery and shipping through to invoicing to ensure orders meeting customer’s requirement, as well as are processed in accordance to business policy, standards and guidelines
• Capable of resolving issues arising from operations and requiring coordination cross-functionally, especially issues potentially impacting order fulfilment.
• Implement continuous improvement across supply chain function and integration with midstream.
• Define Key Results Areas clearly and roles for supply chain and customer service members.
• Develop robust forecast process in coordination with Sales to ensure effective planning in inventory.
• Effective inventory management
• Secure cost effective, reliable and quality service from key suppliers.
• Effective negotiations and engagement with existing and potential suppliers to ensure sourcing value is delivered.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of suppliers
• Develop sourcing strategy for all necessary materials and accessories that aligns with business objectives and works closely with suppliers.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis
• Complete projects and initiatives as assigned by superior
• Carry out duties as and when directed by the management.
  
  

Qualification And/or Experience Required

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from Supply Chain, Logistic Management or related technical field.
• At least 5 years supply chain related working experience – Material and Inventory Management, Production Planning, Sourcing, Warehouse and Logistic Management
• Experience within the steel/ construction industry to enable strong product and application knowledge.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Experience in ERP system is an advantage.
• Positive mindset and able to work under tight deadlines in fast-paced environment.
  
  

KRA

• Safety performance (Zero Harm, WI, MTI).
• Service level, inventory level (DOI).
• Sourcing and planning performance – Cost saving on key raw materials.
• Key supplier relationship.
• Risk Management - Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure that contingency plans are in place to handle disruptions or emergencies.
• To achieve Delivery Performance as per Quality objective set.
• To comply with local legal and company Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE) policies, rules, procedure, regulations and participate and contribute towards improving OHSE practices.
• Take up additional safety accountability where applicable e.g. safety audit leader, contract supervisor etc.
• Carry out minimum safety requirements. E.g. SOR, safety audit etc.
