Senior R&D Executive

Salary: RM4,500 – RM8,000/month

Job Scope:

• Develop and improve new food products and formulations.
• Conduct laboratory trials, product testing and sensory evaluation.
• Improve existing products based on quality, cost and customer requirements.
• Prepare formulations, product specifications and R&D reports.
• Conduct raw material and ingredient evaluation.
• Perform product costing and formulation optimisation.
• Coordinate product trials with Production, QA/QC and Purchasing.
• Conduct shelf-life and stability studies.
• Support production scale-up from laboratory trials.
• Ensure products comply with Halal, HACCP, GMP and food safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot formulation and production issues.
• Maintain R&D documentation and records.
• Support new product development and product improvement projects.
• Guide junior R&D staff when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry or related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant R&D experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food formulation and product development.
• Experience in sauces, pastes, seasonings, beverages or FMCG is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Halal, HACCP and GMP.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to conduct product trials independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
