Our client is an established organisation in the Warehousing and Supply Chain Solutions industry. Due to their current business expansion, they are looking for a Logistics Assistant to join their team and support their growing operations. They are located in the West Central area.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with receiving, picking, packing, loading and unloading activities.
Support order preparation and ensure items are ready for dispatch.
Handle the movement of goods and materials within the warehouse.
Arrange products and materials in the designated storage areas.
Operate forklifts, reach trucks and other material handling equipment as required.
Carry out regular stock checks and assist with inventory accuracy.
Check goods for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the Supervisor.
Carry out basic checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues.
Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised.
Follow warehouse SOPs, safety guidelines and 5S practices at all times.
Report safety incidents, stock discrepancies and operational problems promptly.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Valid Forklift Refresher License (non-expired).
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
