Role OverviewThe Primary Teacher delivers high-quality, inclusive education from Early Years to Year 6. You will create a supportive environment that maximizes academic, social, and emotional progress through Universal Design for Learning (UDL), robust pastoral care, and close collaboration with the Therapy and Pastoral Care (TPC) team.

Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Learning

• Delivery: Plan and deliver differentiated, high-quality lessons for diverse learning profiles, including neurodivergent students.
• Assessment: Monitor, track, and record student progress using data to guide interventions and provide constructive feedback.
• Environment: Maintain a well-organized, structured classroom with high expectations for behavior and independent growth.

2. Student Support & Well-being

• Pastoral Care: Foster student self-esteem, emotional regulation, and resilience.
• Collaboration: Work with the TPC team to execute specialized student support plans.
• Safeguarding: Uphold school safeguarding policies and escalate academic or emotional concerns early.

3. Homeroom Lead & Communication

• Oversight: Manage core curriculum planning, classroom routines, and smooth student transitions.
• Partnership: Act as the primary contact for families via professional updates, meetings, and termly reports.

4. Professional Practice & Wider Contribution

• Development: Engage in professional development focused on Special Educational Needs (SEN) and inclusive strategies.
• School Life: Run at least one Extra-Curricular Activity (ECA) per term and support school camps, community events, and holiday programmes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or relevant field) with a recognized teaching qualification.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, specifically within an inclusive school setting.
• Skills: Proven expertise in differentiated instruction, adaptive teaching, classroom management, and UDL.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work within a multidisciplinary team and build trust with parents.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
