We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee quality-related matters within a logistics and operations environment.

The role will be responsible for investigating quality issues, identifying root causes, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and working closely with operations and stakeholders to maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the site focal point for quality-related matters.
• Investigate quality issues and discrepancies, including wrong, damaged or incorrect materials.
• Work with operations teams to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and present investigation and quality reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct physical inspection and validation of parts and materials.
• Perform regular sampling checks to verify picking and handling quality.
• Develop and maintain quality instructions and guidelines.
• Communicate quality requirements and provide training to operations teams.
• Conduct periodic shipment and process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
• Manage non-conforming or discrepant materials and coordinate the appropriate disposition.
• Participate in quality meetings, audits and on-site reviews as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics and operational quality.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Logistics Quality or Operations Quality.
• Experience in quality investigation, root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Familiarity with 8D, CAPA or similar quality improvement methodologies.
• Good understanding of inspection, sampling and audit processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with operations and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
