Overview

We’re looking for a Social Media Analyst who can turn engagement, reach, and clicks into clear insights and next steps. You’ll work closely with our content, strategy, and client teams to track performance across platforms, helping optimise campaigns and shape smarter social strategies for one of Malaysia’s leading telco brands.

This role will work on one of Malaysia’s leading Telecommunication providers. You will also get to collaborate with a large and diverse array of other creatives and consultants within GrowthOps.

Responsibilities

• Track and report on social media performance across key platforms (Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube)

• Monitor daily and weekly performance of paid and organic content

• Prepare monthly performance decks with actionable insights and optimisation ideas

• Work closely with strategists, content creators, and community managers to drive continuous improvement

• Support real-time reporting during campaign launches and key moments

• Monitor competitive benchmarks and social trends

Requirements

• 2–4 years experience in social analytics, digital marketing, or performance reporting

• Strong grasp of metrics like engagement rate, CPM, CTR, video view rates, reach and impressions

• Hands-on experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Sheets/excel, social listening and more

• Able to turn data into simple, useful insights

• Detail-obsessed and great with decks (PowerPoint or Google Slides)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output environment

• Work in office 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday)
