Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics - Perform fault diagnosis followed by repair
• Maintenance - Perform service and maintenance tasks and any tests that may be required by law
• Repair work on vehicle components
• Modifications and retrofits

Core Responsibilities

• Diagnostic-Perform fault diagnostic followed by repair.
• Maintenance-Perform service and maintenance tasks and any tests that may be required by law.
• Repair work on vehicle components.
• Modifications and retrofits
• ECU Coding
• Perform service and repair all systems within a vehicle up to 3.5T include engine, exhaust system, air conditioning and electronics.
• Solving complex faults using ODIS (Off-board Diagnostic Information System) on TGE.
• Carry out electrical and electronic diagnosis using measuring box VAS 6356.
• Access and retrieve information from MAN erWin Portal for service and repair information.
• Perform repair work on hydraulic brake system.

Performance

• Perform monologue reception (vehicle inspected in the absence of the customer).
• Maintenance - Provide work performance (repair work, maintenance, inspection, assembly, etc.).
• Documentation - Record the productive activities (if necessary)
• Prepare the vehicle for handback, including cleaning.
• Clean the work place, protect and maintain all tools and equipment by only using them in the prescribed manner and returning them to their place of storage immediately after use.
• Immediately report any loss, shortage, damage or malfunction of tools and equipment or if any additional tools or equipment are required to complete the repair.
• If there is a repair extension, notify the workshop manager/foreman for further clarification/approval.

General

• Attend training and keep updated with the latest technical information which is circulated or displayed.
• Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures.
• Willing to work at Perai, Pulau Pinang.
• Have valid License D, E & GDL is preferable.
• Willing to work on shift-rotation basis (if required).
