Job Description

As a Hospitality Intern, you'll be placed in our casual fine dining restaurant and rotated through key areas of front-of-house operations, gaining practical, real-world experience to complement your hospitality studies. You'll work closely with our restaurant team to deliver excellent guest experiences while learning the day-to-day running of a professional dining establishment.

Job Responsibilities

- Greet, seat, and attend to guests in a warm, professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and assist with menu recommendations
- Support table setup, service sequencing, and clearing to fine dining standards
- Operate the POS system for order entry and billing
- Assist with reservations, guest inquiries, and basic complaint handling under supervisor guidance
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in line with restaurant SOPs
- Support event or private dining setups when required
- Learn inventory, stock rotation, and basic cost-control practices
- Rotate through other operational areas (e.g., bar, host stand, service line) as needed for well-rounded exposure
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or supervisors

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
