We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Food & Supplement R&D Chemist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative food products and dietary supplements, improving existing formulations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and formulate new products including powders, capsules, tablets, beverages, and gummies
• Improve existing formulations for taste, stability, and cost efficiency
• Conduct laboratory testing (e.g., pH, moisture, solubility, stability studies)
• Perform raw material evaluation and ingredient compatibility studies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency, FDA, ASEAN guidelines)
• Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, and labeling information
• Support scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial production
• Collaborate with QA/QC, production, and marketing teams
• Troubleshoot formulation and production issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in food, supplement, or nutraceutical R&D
• Knowledge of ingredient functionality (vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts)
• Experience with formulation techniques (e.g., emulsions, flavor masking, encapsulation)
• Familiarity with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC is an advantage)
• Understanding of GMP and regulatory compliance
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ASEAN supplement regulations
• Knowledge of halal certification requirements
• Experience in sensory evaluation (taste, texture, aroma)
