Role Description The Application Support Engineer role is a contract, on-site position based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The engineer will provide day-to-day application and technical support, including monitoring system performance, handling user inquiries, and resolving incidents in a timely manner. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting application issues, escalating complex problems when necessary, and documenting solutions and processes. The role also involves collaborating with development and infrastructure teams, performing root cause analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement of application stability and user experience.

Application Support Engineer

Application Support (L2): Troubleshooting production issues and maintaining application health.

SIT/UAT Testing: Preparing test cases, executing tests and resolving defects.

Deployment & Release Management: Managing software releases across SIT, UAT, Production and DR environments.

Vendor Coordination: Working with the eKYC vendor or system vendor 

Banking Applications: Experience in BFSI or digital banking is preferred.
