About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong backend development skills in Kotlin/Micronaut or Java/Spring Boot.

The successful candidate will work on application development and contribute to scalable, reliable software solutions using modern backend and containerisation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable software applications.
• Develop backend services using Kotlin with Micronaut or Java with Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop clean, maintainable and reusable code.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for application containerisation and deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain development standards.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, testers and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical discussions.
• Support application deployment and CI/CD activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes.

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Micronaut is preferred.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Java/Spring Boot is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and development lifecycle.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
