Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Credit Recovery Officer to manage and recover outstanding payments from government employees who have been granted Koperasi (cooperative) loans. The role involves engaging with borrowers, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact borrowers via phone, WhatsApp, and other communication channels to follow up on overdue payments
• Negotiate and structure suitable repayment plans with customers
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and prioritize recovery actions
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions
• Ensure compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines and internal SOPs
• Handle customer objections professionally and provide appropriate solutions
• Escalate complex or high-risk accounts to management when necessary
• Achieve monthly recovery targets and KPIs
• Work closely with internal teams (credit, legal, customer service) to resolve cases

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / Diploma / Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• Prior experience in collections, telemarketing, or credit recovery is an advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism
• Familiarity with Koperasi loans or government payroll deduction systems (ANGKASA) is a plus
• Basic computer skills (CRM systems, Microsoft Office)
• Results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
