Role Description The Workshop Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, including planning workloads, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure equipment and tooling are maintained, calibrated, and ready for deployment. The role involves supervising a technical team, ensuring compliance with safety standards, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance schedules. The Workshop Manager collaborates closely with project and operations teams to align workshop activities with project timelines, supports equipment mobilization and demobilization, and keeps accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and asset status. This role also drives continuous improvement in workshop processes and contributes to cost-effective, reliable support for field operations.

Qualifications

• Strong workshop management and operations skills, including planning, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Knowledge of marine, offshore, or survey-related equipment and practices, particularly within Oil & Gas or renewables projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a technical team, with a focus on safety, performance, and accountability.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices in workshop and field environments.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and inventory management skills, including use of maintenance or asset management systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Marine Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in a survey , GNSS or subsea rental workshop, maintenance, or operations management role in a related industry is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Singapore and adapt to a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
