  • Job Summary We are seeking an analytical, highly technical, and results-oriented Process Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing optimization, production line configuration, and continuous improvement engineering practices. In this critical leadership role, you will be the core technical owner responsible for designing, auditing, and optimizing end-to-end manufacturing workflows, tracking throughput metrics, and minimizing cycle-time latencies.Operating at the intersection of product engineering, corporate finance, and operations management, you will eliminate process bottlenecks, lead root-cause failure analysis, and deploy Lean Six Sigma architectures. The ideal candidate will combine rigorous systems logic with sharp people leadership capabilities to enhance manufacturing yields, reduce operational expenditures, and guide digital plant transformations from pilot to secure full-scale execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering Practice Leadership: Direct the day-to-day operations, project scheduling, line balancing adjustments, and performance execution of a multi-disciplinary team of process and manufacturing engineers.
  • Workflow Optimization & Scaling: Audit, simulate, and optimize end-to-end manufacturing layouts, tracking production throughput metrics to systematically eliminate line bottlenecks and waste.
  • Continuous Improvement Architecture: Own and drive the localized execution of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs to maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Equipment Validation & Scaling: Oversee the qualification, validation, and installation setups (IQ/OQ/PQ) of new automated lines, robotics cells, and processing hardware according to precise technical specs.
  • Root-Cause Troubleshooting: Provide rapid, decisive tier 3 technical troubleshooting to isolate manufacturing anomalies, execute structural engineering modifications, and compile corrective and preventive action (CAPA) matrices.
  • Yield & Cost Engineering: Track, extract, and interpret production yield variances, raw material scrap benchmarks, and energy capacity constraints to compile detailed cost-saving briefings for senior leadership.
  • Governance & Standardization: Enforce rigid compliance with engineering specifications, Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) guidelines, ISO quality tracking structures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, or a highly quantitative technical STEM field.
  • Technical Stack: Strong command of statistical process control (SPC) data analysis software, Minitab, advanced process mapping tools, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Deep proficiency in Microsoft Excel for metrics calculation and data parsing is essential.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly valued.
  • Experience: Prior hands-on experience (5–8 years) as a process engineer or manufacturing engineer, with at least 2+ years of direct experience leading technical engineering teams—specifically within an electronics, semiconductor, medical device, chemical processing, or precision engineering sector—is required.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; professional etiquette and an assertive, collaborative stakeholder management style to bridge shop-floor operators with corporate executives.
  • Core Competencies: Outstanding structural logic, intense attention to detail under tight production timelines, strong analytical troubleshooting capabilities under pressure, and a resilient team-player mindset.
