Job Responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation, cooking and kitchen operations.
• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat and seafood according to recipes and SOPs.
• Assist chefs with cooking and plating of food.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment and work areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling and handling of food ingredients.
• Assist with receiving and checking of ingredients and supplies.
• Assist with packing food for catering orders when required.
• Support catering preparation and event operations when required.
• Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or Supervisor.

Requirements

• No experience required; training will be provided.
• Previous kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable with standing for long periods.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.
