Role Description
The Logistics & Freight Forwarding Customer Service Executive is a full-time, on-site position based in Pelabuhan Klang. The role involves managing customer inquiries and service requests related to freight forwarding and logistics, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating export and freight transportation activities, preparing and verifying documentation, and liaising with carriers, agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment handling. The executive will monitor shipment status, proactively resolve issues or delays, and maintain clear communication with customers on delivery timelines and service updates. Additional tasks include maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and contributing to process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Freight Forwarding and Forwarding skills, with experience managing end-to-end shipment processes.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Export procedures, including documentation, regulations, and customs requirements.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain professional client relationships.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Freight Transportation operations, including coordination with carriers and understanding of transit times and routing.
• Relevant experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations, preferably in a port or freight environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work on-site in Pelabuhan Klang and collaborate in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic office software and logistics-related systems; prior experience with freight or forwarding software is an advantage.
• Certificate, diploma, or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is beneficial.
