Job Summary

The General Operations Manager is responsible for supporting and coordinating the company’s day-to-day operations. The role ensures that daily activities are carried out smoothly, efficiently and according to company procedures.

The position works closely with staff, supervisors, customers and management to coordinate operational matters and resolve routine issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Supervise and support operational staff in their day-to-day duties.
• Monitor work progress and follow up on outstanding operational matters.
• Ensure company SOPs, work instructions and safety procedures are followed.
• Liaise with customers, contractors and internal departments when required.
• Handle routine operational issues and escalate major problems to management.
• Monitor equipment, materials and other operational resources.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports and documentation.
• Assist with scheduling, quotations, purchase requests and other administrative matters.
• Assist management with operational reports and updates.
• Identify simple process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Ensure the workplace is maintained in a safe, organised and professional manner.
• Carry out other operational duties assigned by Management.
