Job Description
Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare management reports and provide financial analysis and insights to Management.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of business performance against targets.
Manage cash flow, treasury, banking matters and foreign currency exposure.
Oversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, ageing and product cost/margin analysis.
Manage accounts receivable, credit control, customer collections and credit exposure.
Ensure timely tax, GST, audit and statutory compliance requirements.
Strengthen internal controls, finance processes and support ERP/automation improvements.
Lead and develop the finance team while partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse, HR and other departments.
Requirement
Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
, with relevant professional qualifications preferred.
Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
, preferably in distribution, trading or consumer electronics.
Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting, GST, tax and statutory requirements
, with experience in financial reporting and audit.
Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, inventory and credit control.
Senior Accountant or Assistant Finance Manager with
