Role Description The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Subang Jaya. This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents across applications, networks, and systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing threat and malware analysis, managing security tools, conducting vulnerability assessments, and recommending remediation measures. The analyst will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to strengthen security controls, support compliance requirements, and develop security policies and procedures. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, preparing security reports for management, and contributing to continuous improvement of the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Cybersecurity with proven experience in enterprise security operations and incident response.
• Hands-on expertise in Network Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and secure network architectures.
• Practical experience in Application Security, encompassing secure software development practices, code review, and vulnerability management for applications.
• Proficiency in Malware Analysis and threat intelligence, with the ability to investigate, classify, and mitigate malicious activities.
• Excellent Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and make sound risk-based decisions.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent are highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments, with knowledge of data protection and compliance standards, is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
