Salary

• Accounts Executive: RM4,000 – RM5,000
• Accounts Officer: RM3,000 – RM4,000

Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Executive / Accounts Officer to join our manufacturing team in Johor Bahru.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting activities, including preparing and posting accounting journals.
• Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and inventory-related accounting activities.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial closing, including accruals and supporting schedules.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account fluctuation analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial and statutory reporting.
• Assist with Malaysian tax compliance, including Corporate Tax and Withholding Tax (WHT).
• Support external audit activities when required.
• Monitor inventory accounting and work closely with operations to ensure accuracy.
• Identify accounting process issues and recommend improvements.
• Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded according to company policies and procedures.
• For the Accounts Executive level, supervise and guide Account Officers where required.

Requirements

Accounts Executive

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in general accounting and/or financial accounting.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as AutoCount and ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and prioritisation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
