About the Roles

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our team at Kaki Bukit, working a Monday to Friday schedule from 9.00am to 6.00pm. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary with Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) and performance bonuses. What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the Finance Manager with daily accounting operations.
• Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate transaction records.
• Prepare invoices, bills, purchase orders, and payment documentation.
• Track payables and receivables, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
• Manage vendor and service provider payments and billing.
• Reconcile bank transactions and verify account balances.
• Compile weekly and management financial reports.
• Assist with cash flow management and annual financial reporting.
• Provide necessary documentation and information for audits.
• Coordinate with tax agents on GST and other tax-related matters.
• Perform additional accounting or administrative tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, or a relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and GST compliance.
• Proficiency with computerized accounting systems; experience with Xero preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.

Pay: $3,800.00 - $4,500.00 per month

Experience:

• Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
• tax & gst: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• permanent working rights with no restrictions in singapore (Preferred)
