An established and well-recognised consumer brand within the F&B and retail industry is seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team in Kuala Lumpur.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role offers the opportunity to influence strategic direction, drive financial performance, and support sustainable growth across a multi-site business with a strong market presence. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping long-term business strategy, strengthening commercial performance, optimising supply chain efficiency, and ensuring sound governance across the organisation.

Your new role

• Lead the overall financial strategy, planning and performance management of the organisation.
• Provide commercial insights and strategic recommendations to support business growth and investment decisions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial reporting.
• Drive profitability, cost optimisation and operational efficiency initiatives across the business.
• Provide leadership and oversight of procurement and supply chain operations to ensure effective resource management and business continuity.
• Strengthen governance, risk management, compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Build, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a strong commercial mindset across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline. Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, including a proven track record in senior leadership roles such as CFO, Finance Director or equivalent.
• Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, business partnering, corporate finance, risk management and financial controls.
• Demonstrated success in driving business transformation, profitability improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Experience working within consumer, retail, hospitality, F&B or multi-site operations environments will be advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
