Role Description The BIM Modeler is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This position is responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining accurate Building Information Models for architecture, MEP, and structural disciplines in accordance with project standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting construction drawings, coordinating with project teams to resolve design inconsistencies, and ensuring models are aligned with client and consultant requirements. The BIM Modeler will support clash detection, prepare model-based documentation, and assist in improving BIM workflows and templates to enhance project efficiency.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and experience working as a Modeler in a project environment.
  • Candidates should possess skills related to Architecture and the interpretation and production of Construction Drawings.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within coordinated BIM models.
  • Relevant experience with industry-standard BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or similar) and familiarity with BIM coordination processes.
  • Diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and capacity to meet project deadlines.
  • Understanding of construction workflows, local building codes, and standards is beneficial.
