About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager – Malaysia to join our team in Kuala Lumpur.

This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for driving STARPATH GLOBAL Aerospace’s business growth in the Malaysian market. You will take ownership of local business development, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and sales execution for our satellite data and AI-powered geospatial solutions.

The ideal candidate is commercially driven, familiar with the Malaysian market, and experienced in working with both government and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Malaysia, with a focus on government and enterprise clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies, strategic partners, and other stakeholders.
• Drive sales of satellite data, remote sensing, and AI-powered geospatial solutions, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis and develop localized go-to-market strategies and sales plans.
• Prepare business proposals and presentations, lead client discussions, and support commercial negotiations.
• Work closely with regional teams and China headquarters to support project delivery, manage the sales pipeline, and provide regular business and market updates.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within aerospace, geospatial technology, remote sensing, AI, or other B2B technology sectors.
• Proven experience developing government and enterprise clients, building strategic partnerships, and managing stakeholder relationships in Malaysia.
• Strong understanding of the Malaysian market, with the ability to identify opportunities and translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.
• Strong English communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; professional proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is highly preferred.
• Based in Kuala Lumpur and willing to travel as required. Experience with satellite data, remote sensing, or geospatial solutions is a strong advantage.
