JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Operations

• Assist with daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, issuing and packing materials.
• Assist in receiving raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
• Check incoming materials against delivery documents and purchase orders.
• Ensure materials are properly labelled and stored in the correct location.
• Assist with arranging and organizing warehouse stock.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO practices for raw materials and finished goods.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods.

Inventory & Stock Control

• Assist in maintaining accurate stock quantities and inventory records.
• Perform daily stock checks and physical stock counts.
• Assist in checking stock discrepancies and reporting differences to the Warehouse Executive.
• Monitor batch numbers and expiry dates.
• Ensure stock movements are accurately recorded in the system.
• Assist in preparing stock balance and inventory reports.
• Assist Production with issuing raw materials according to approved material request forms.

Incoming & Finished Goods

• Assist in checking the quantity and condition of incoming raw materials.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for incoming material inspection and release.
• Ensure only approved materials are issued for production.
• Check finished goods before storage.
• Ensure cartons and products are properly packed and in good condition before storage or dispatch.

Documentation & System

• Assist in updating warehouse records and stock transactions.
• Key in receiving, issuing and stock movement information into the system.
• Maintain proper records for batch numbers, expiry dates and stock movements.
• Assist in filing Delivery Orders, Goods Received Notes and other warehouse documents.
• Ensure warehouse records are accurate and up to date.

Warehouse Hygiene & Food Safety

• Assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and good housekeeping.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety and warehouse hygiene requirements.
• Assist in monitoring warehouse temperature and humidity where required.
• Report damaged, leaking, expired or abnormal materials to the Warehouse Executive and QA/QC.
• Ensure materials are properly protected from contamination and damage.

Team Support

• Work closely with Warehouse, Production, QA/QC, Purchasing and Logistics teams.
• Assist the Warehouse Executive with daily warehouse activities.
• Assist with stock preparation for production and customer deliveries.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree student in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months internship commitment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and warehouse operations is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organized, responsible and willing to learn.
• Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work in a food manufacturing warehouse environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to perform hands-on warehouse activities.

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
