Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong pharmacy background to support healthcare IT system implementation and optimisation. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Pharmacist with hospital experience in OPD & IPD pharmacy operations, inventory management, and consignment workflows.

The role involves analysing pharmacy processes, gathering business requirements, supporting system testing, and working closely with hospital stakeholders and software vendors to deliver effective healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and document hospital pharmacy workflows, including OPD, IPD, and inventory management processes.
• Gather, review, and translate business requirements into system specifications.
• Prepare process flows, user requirements, and functional documentation.
• Support system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Go-Live activities.
• Validate inventory data, reports, and system transactions.
• Work closely with pharmacists, hospital departments, IT teams, and vendors.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support system enhancements.

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist with recognised pharmacy qualification.
• Hospital pharmacy experience covering OPD & IPD operations.
• Strong understanding of hospital inventory management and consignment processes.
• Experience with HIS, Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), or healthcare IT systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience in business analysis, system implementation, or healthcare digital transformation projects is an advantage.

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
