What you'll do:

As a Technical Delivery Lead based in Kuala Lumpur within a prominent financial services organisation, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the successful delivery of digital investment products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand their objectives before translating these into actionable technical plans for engineering teams. You will guide projects through every stage of the Software Development Lifecycle-from initial requirements gathering through solution design to development and rigorous testing-ensuring each milestone is met with precision. By managing Agile or Hybrid methodologies across multiple workstreams you will drive timely releases while maintaining operational excellence. Your technical oversight will extend across application development environments including APIs integration points cloud infrastructure databases DevOps practices cybersecurity protocols-all aimed at delivering reliable scalable solutions that delight customers. You'll also champion best practices in software engineering quality assurance automation secure coding standards while proactively identifying risks dependencies integration challenges early on. • Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital investment products and technology initiatives by translating business requirements into clear technical plans, milestones, and roadmaps.
• Oversee the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring solutions are designed, developed, tested, deployed, and stabilised according to agreed standards and timelines.
• Work collaboratively with software engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality technology solutions that meet business objectives.
• Manage Agile or Hybrid delivery methodologies across multiple technology teams and workstreams to drive release planning, deployment readiness, implementation, and post-production support.
• Provide technical oversight across application development, APIs, system integrations, databases, cloud technologies, and other components throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Review solution designs for alignment with enterprise architecture standards while ensuring scalability, performance, availability, security, resilience, and maintainability.
• Identify technical dependencies and integration challenges early in the process; facilitate resolution of issues across engineering teams.
• Promote good software engineering practices such as code quality assurance, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and secure SDLC principles.
• Apply knowledge of investment products and digital platforms to support effective technology delivery while challenging requirements for process improvement.
• Establish robust programme governance covering scope management, timeline tracking, risk identification, issue escalation, quality assurance activities, budget controls, documentation standards, project dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related discipline demonstrating foundational knowledge required for technical delivery roles.
• Significant experience in software engineering technology delivery digital product delivery or technical project/programme management ideally within banking financial services wealth management asset management or investment technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) modern software engineering practices including Agile Hybrid methodologies application development APIs integrations databases cloud DevOps environments.
• Proven ability to work closely with software engineering teams providing technical oversight across solution architecture system integration cybersecurity testing governance risk management.
• Good understanding of investment products digital investment journeys enabling translation of business requirements into actionable technology outcomes for engineering teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management communication facilitation presentation skills allowing you to build trusted relationships align priorities drive consensus among diverse groups.
