Job Title: Cook (Western & Asian Cuisine)

Monthly Salary: UP to $,3200 (Negotiable)

Working Address: Woodlands

Working Hours: 6 days work week - 10 hours per day - 1 hour break OR 

                          5 days work week - 44 hours total

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Western and Asian dishes according to the menu and company standards.

• Ensure the taste, quality, portioning, and presentation of dishes consistently meet expectations.

• Perform food preparation, including cutting, marinating, seasoning, and portioning of ingredients.

• Follow recipes and standard cooking procedures to maintain consistency in food quality.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and cooking equipment.

• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices are followed at all times.

• Monitor ingredient and stock levels and inform the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.

• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient food preparation and service.

• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing food supplies when required.

• Adhere to all food safety, health, and sanitation requirements.

Qualification and Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cook, Commis Chef, or similar kitchen role in a restaurant, café, catering, or food service environment.

• Experience in preparing both Western and Asian cuisine preferred.

• Good knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality.

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Strong attention to cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety.

• Possess Food Safety Certification.
