What The Role Is
The successful candidate will lead architecture design and governance across the Learning & Skills portfolio, ensuring scalable, integrated and sustainable digital capabilities that support long-term product evolution and sector-wide interoperability.

The successful candidate will lead architecture design and governance across the Learning & Skills portfolio, ensuring scalable, integrated and sustainable digital capabilities that support long-term product evolution and sector-wide interoperability.
What You Will Be Working On
- Define architecture vision, principles and target state.
- Own application, data and integration architecture.
- Establish common integration and data standards.
- Govern architecture compliance and design reviews.
- Provide oversight of vendor solution designs.
- Align architecture decisions with product roadmap objectives.
- Manage architecture risks and technical debt.
- Ensure architecture supports future enhancements and scalability.
- Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, systems integration or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience designing and governing enterprise-scale digital systems.
- Strong understanding of application, data and integration architecture principles.
- Experience managing architecture governance and working with external vendors.
- Experience in education technology, enterprise platforms, data ecosystems or related domains will be an advantage.
