Currently, for the new EDV Werke project we are looking for QA Automation Engineer (AWS).


Location: Hybrid in Kuala Lumpur or Remote (APAC region)

Employment Type: B2B or Employment Contract

FTE: Full-time


We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and operate the automated testing framework for a new AWS-based integration middleware platform. The role focuses on ensuring quality, reliability, and performance across a cloud-native architecture built on microservices and event-driven patterns.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA Automation, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering.
  • Strong experience with AWS Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • QA Automation
  • Cucumber
  • BDD
  • Gatling
  • API testing
  • Integration testing
  • oCI/CD pipelines
  • Experience testing microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with the following AWS services:
  • SQS
  • SNS
  • EventBridge
  • Lambda
  • ECS
  • S3
  • API Gateway
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.


Responsibilities:

The QA engineer will focus heavily on automated testing.

Key areas include:

  • Automated API and integration testing.
  • Testing microservices.
  • Testing event-driven workflows.
  • BDD using Cucumber.
  • Performance/load testing using Gatling.
  • Integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Validation of the overall infrastructure and interactions between AWS services.
