Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Murex MX.3, specifically the MLC
• Solid understanding of treasury products: money market instruments, term deposits, loans, repos, and related cash management workflows.
• Experience with trade lifecycle events — booking, amendments, rollovers, settlements, and accruals.
• Familiarity with Murex Datamart, BO workflows, accounting (SIMPLE/Murex accounting engine), and interfaces (Murex Connectivity Manager or similar).
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting (Python/Shell) for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Prior experience in techno-functional roles within capital markets/treasury IT is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid SDLC environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Murex certification (MX.3 MLC or related modules).
• Experience with other Murex modules (FO, BO, Risk, Collateral) is a plus.
• Prior exposure to regulatory reporting or Basel-related requirements for treasury products.
• Banking domain knowledge (commercial banking, treasury operations).

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support the MLC module in Murex MX.3, including product setup, static data, workflows, and pricing/valuation models.
• Support end-to-end trade lifecycle management for money market instruments, term deposits, loans, and repos/reverse repos within Murex.
• Work closely with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and IT teams to define and implement system changes, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Perform functional and technical impact analysis for new releases, patches, and regulatory changes.
• Design and execute test cases (unit, functional, UAT, regression) for MLC-related workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate fixes with development/support teams.
• Document functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Support interfaces between Murex MLC and upstream/downstream systems (accounting, settlement, risk, reporting).
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users and junior team members.
