Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Scientist / Data Visualization Analyst to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights that support business decision-making.

The successful candidate will work with business, technology, and analytics teams to analyse data, develop predictive models, create interactive dashboards, identify trends, and communicate data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, transform, and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Identify trends, patterns, correlations, and business opportunities within datasets.
• Develop statistical analyses and predictive models to support business objectives.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear and actionable business insights.
• Develop visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Write SQL queries to extract and analyse data from databases.
• Use Python or R for data analysis, modelling, and automation where required.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into analytical requirements.
• Prepare analytical reports, presentations, and dashboards for management.
• Monitor key business and operational metrics and identify significant changes or trends.
• Support forecasting, segmentation, classification, and other analytical projects.
• Collaborate with data engineers to improve data pipelines and data availability.
• Document analytical methodologies, data sources, models, and reporting processes.
• Recommend improvements based on data-driven findings.
• Support ad hoc data analysis and business intelligence projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in data science, data analytics, business intelligence, or data visualisation is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic projects, internships, or data analytics portfolios are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Python, R, or another programming language for data analysis.
• Experience with at least one visualisation platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Good understanding of statistics, data analysis, and data visualisation principles.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or Matplotlib.
• Knowledge of machine learning and predictive modelling.
• Experience with Power BI DAX, Tableau calculations, or similar analytics features.
• Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, or similar data platforms.
• Knowledge of statistical modelling and forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with Git and version-control systems.
• Experience presenting data insights to business stakeholders.
