Job Summary
Perform quality control inspections and testing to ensure product compliance with company standards. Support quality assurance procedures, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams to resolve customer complaints and maintain accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
Perform quality control inspections on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with company standards and specifications
Conduct product testing and analysis using specialized equipment and established procedures to ensure quality consistency
Document and report inspection and testing results, highlighting any non-conformities or deviations to management for corrective action
Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance procedures and protocols to enhance product quality and process efficiency
Support production teams by troubleshooting quality issues and delivering training on quality assurance practices to improve operational standards
Investigate customer complaints and collaborate with relevant departments to identify root causes and implement effective resolutions
Maintain accurate and organized records of all quality assurance activities to ensure traceability and compliance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or Degree in engineering or a related field
Previous experience in quality control/assurance or related roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices, including ISO 9001 or other relevant standards
